Application of Nozzles in the Cleaning Industry
Flat fan nozzles are among the most practical nozzles in industrial cleaning. Their linear impact pattern and fan-shaped spray coverage provide significant advantages in certain applications. While particularly suitable for conveyor-based cleaning systems, these nozzles exhibit clear limitations in vertical coverage despite their wide horizontal impact range. Under the same pressure and flow conditions, the flat fan nozzle delivers the strongest impact force among all mechanical nozzles.
Additionally, flat fan cleaning nozzles can be manufactured from diverse materials, including stainless steel, PP, brass, ceramics, and PVDF, to accommodate different working environments. For high-pressure applications, the nozzle core can be constructed from hard materials such as ceramics or tungsten steel to ensure durability.
Installation Methods for Flat Fan Nozzles:
Threaded connections are commonly used.
Clamp-on types are prevalent in pretreatment systems for coating processes.
Welded connections are often employed for filter press belt cleaning and similar applications.
